My skincare routine has evolved a lot with time. A few years ago, it used to be super long and complex but nowadays, I try to focus on quality and consistency rather than the number of steps or products.

I made this video to share with you the step by step of my routine. I think it’s not only super easy to follow but also extremely effective over time. If you’re dealing with acne problems, or simply want to achieve a healthy and glowy skin without spending hours in front of the mirror, this routine is for you.

I have also left the description of all the products that I am currently using and links to the online stores where I purchase them. In case you want to learn more about them.

Cleansing Mousse | Verde & Miel

This mouse is made out of coconut and jojoba oil. Both famous for their antibacterial and hydrating properties. I love it because it truly feels like it cleans my skin without leaving it too tight. It’s even great removing makeup (but if it’s waterproof I suggest you use coconut oil first). Another thing I loved about this mousse it the smell. It’s fruity but in a super refreshing non-invasive way.

If you use it along with a konjac sponge, you’ll only require a super small amount to deeply clean and exfoliate your entire face (and neckline). By the way, I dedicated an entire post to konjac sponges, so make sure you check it out here.

Rose Water Toner | Verde & Miel

I love to spray this toner right after washing my face when it’s still wet. It is a great way to keep the moisture in while closing the pores. This prevents them from getting clogged later on when you apply the following products. My favorite thing about it is that you truly feel how it gets absorbed by your skin, unlike other toners that simply evaporate.

Advanced Night Repair Serum | Estée Lauder

This is one of the most popular serums out there and for a good reason. It truly feels super rich and nurturing, without being greasy. Serums are meant to protect your skin in the long term. I have been using it for about 6 months and I can notice a huge improvement, especially around my eyes and neckline.

The only downside of it is the price. It is quite an investment, but it is definitely worth it. If you are still not ready to go all in, you can always get the mini version that comes on certain gift packages or at the mini bar section on the Estee Lauder website. It will last you about 3 months if used correctly.

Sébium Global Treatment | Bioderma

I discovered Bioderma’s Sébium line 2 years ago during my acne crisis. This spot treatment helps to reduce the inflammation, restore the balance of the sebaceous glands and prevent scarring. Although I should mention that if you are dealing with hormonal acne, this alone won’t probably do much for you. In my case, I had to take a more holistic approach and work on multiple things at the time. Now that my hormones are under control, however, the Sébium Global treatment is perfect to keep breakouts at bay.

Tropical Fruits Moisturizing Cream | Verde & Miel

I started using this moisturizer a month before filming the video to test it out, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I was truly impressed by its ultra-lightweight texture and the delicious smell. It absorbs really quickly and my skin feels super fresh for hours.

The only thing I am missing from this one is the SPF. But since I stay indoors most of the time, it’s not a real dealbreaker for me. If you do however have to commute or spend time outdoors on a regular basis, you’ll need an additional step in your routine to protect your skin from the sun.

I really hope you’ve enjoyed this post and that you’ve found it useful. I truly believe that the best skincare routine is the one that best fits your needs and lifestyle. However, I know for a fact that consistency is absolutely essential. I know it can be hard sometimes, but trust me, your future self will thank you for it.
